GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
The following General Terms and Conditions of sale govern the offer and sale of merchandise on our web site (chefuniformstore.com) by Chef Uniform Store (Chef Uniform Store, the Provider or we), with a registered office in U.A.E at Dubai, United Arab Emirates. - Our Business Policy
- 1.1 Chef Uniform Store offers products for sale on chefuniformstore.com and its e-commerce business services are available exclusively to its end users, i.e. the "Consumers".
- 1.2 "Consumer" shall mean any individual who is acting for purposes, which are outside his or her trade, business or profession. If you are not a Consumer, please do not buy any products on www.chefuniformstore.com.
- 1.3 Chef Uniform Store reserves the right not to process orders received from users who are not "Consumers" and any other order which does not comply with Chef Uniform Store business policy.
- 1.4 These General Terms and Conditions of Sale exclusively regulate the offer, transmission and acceptance of purchase orders relating to products on chefuniformstore.com between the users of chefuniformstore.com and Chef Uniform Store.
- 1.5 The General Terms and Conditions of Sale do not regulate the supply of services or the sale of products performed by third parties that are on chefuniformstore.com through links, banners or other hypertext links. Before sending orders and purchasing products and services from those third parties, we recommend that you verify the third party’s terms and conditions, since Chef Uniform Store shall under no circumstances be deemed liable for the supply of services provided by third parties or for the execution of e-commerce transactions between users of chefuniformstore.com and third parties.
- How to execute a contract with Chef Uniform Store.
- 2.1 In order to place an order for the purchase of one or more products on chefuniformstore.com, you must register, choose a product from the store, fill in the online order form and send it electronically to Chef Uniform Store, following the relevant instructions.
- 2.2 The Product ‘add to cart’ section contains a link to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, and also contains information on the main characteristics of each product ordered and the relevant unit price, the type of payment that you may use in order to purchase each product, shipping terms for the purchased products, shipping and shipping costs, and references to the terms and conditions for returning purchased products.
- 2.3 An order shall be deemed submitted when Chef Uniform Store receives your order form electronically and the order information has been verified as correct.
- 2.4 Before submitting your order form for the purchase of products, you will be asked to carefully read the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, to print a copy using the print option and to save or reproduce a copy thereof for your own personal use.
- 2.5 The order form will be filed in our database for the time required to process your order and as provided by law. You may access your order form by clicking on the section called My Order in the My Account area.
- 2.6 Before submitting the order form, you will be asked to identify and correct possible input errors.
- 2.7 The submission of orders to Chef Uniform Store must be in English.
- 2.8 After your order form has been submitted, Chef Uniform Store will process your order.
- 2.9 Chef Uniform Store may not process purchases when there are not sufficient guarantees of solvency, when orders are incomplete or incorrect, or the products are no longer available. In the above cases, we shall inform you by e-mail that the contract has not been executed and that Chef Uniform Store has not carried out your purchase order specifying the reasons thereof. If the products displayed on chefuniformstore.com are no longer available at the time of your last access or once CHEFUNIFORMSTORE has received your order form, Chef Uniform Store shall inform you of the unavailability of the ordered products within thirty (30) days from the day after Chef Uniform Store has received your order. If the order form has been sent and the price has been paid for items that are no longer available, Chef Uniform Store will refund the amount paid for those items.
- 2.10 By submitting an order form to Chef Uniform Store, you unconditionally accept and undertake to observe the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale in your contract with Chef Uniform Store. Should you not agree with certain provisions of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, please do not submit your order form for the purchase of products on chefuniformstore.com.
- 2.11 By submitting an order form, you agree and accept these General Terms and Conditions of Sale as well as further conditions contained on chefuniformstore.com, also through links, including the General Terms and Conditions of Use, Privacy Policy and Return Policy.
- 2.12 Upon submission of an order form, chefuniformstore.com shall send you a purchase order receipt e-mail, containing a summary of the information related to the order form (General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the products' main characteristics, detailed information on price, terms of payment, return policy and shipping costs). Please note that all and any item price is provided without duties, taxes or fees that you may need to pay to local authorities to receive the merchandise. Please note as well that due to fluctuations in exchange rates and merchandise components Chef Uniform Store will not be able to provide you in advance with information on the amount of duties and taxes that may be owed to local authorities. These amounts should be considered above and beyond the total of the order.
- 2.13 We would like to remind you that all items purchased are intended for use in the country they were ordered from. If, however, you decide to take the items to another country, you will be responsible for adhering to both the exportation legislation of the order country and the importation legislation of the destination country. Chef Uniform Store shall not be held liable.
- Guarantees and Product Price Indication
- 3.1 On chefuniformstore.com, we offer for sale, luxury and top-quality products. These products are shipped directly by Chef Uniform Store from stores, manufacturers and dealers, carefully selected for their stringent quality control.
- 3.2 Chef Uniform Store does not sell second-hand products, flawed products or products of lower quality than the corresponding market standards.
- 3.3 The main characteristics of products are shown on chefuniformstore.com on each product page. The products offered for sale on chefuniformstore.com may not exactly correspond to the real garments in terms of image and colours due to the Internet browser or monitor used.
- 3.4 Prices are subject to change. Check the final price of sale before sending the relevant order form.
- 3.5 Orders made from a country site different from the one you are shipping to, or to addresses, to which Chef Uniform Store cannot ship, will be automatically cancelled.
- 3.6 All products come with an identification tag attached with a disposable seal. Do not remove the tag or seal from the purchased products should you wish to return the purchased product.
- 3.7 Should you decide to exercise your right to return purchased products, Chef Uniform Store has the right to not accept returned products that are returned without the corresponding tag or seal or that have been altered from their original status or damaged.
- Payments
- 4.1 Payment of the product prices and relevant shipping costs must be made by using one of the procedures indicated on the order form.
- 4.2 In case of payment by Credit Card or Debit Card, all details (for example, Card Number or Expiration Date) will be sent by encrypted protocol to MERCHANT or other banks which provide remote electronic payment services, without third parties having any access thereto whatsoever. Such details will not be used by Chef Uniform Store except for performing the procedure relevant to your purchase or issuing refunds in the case of returns, in compliance with the exercise of your return right or for reporting cases of fraud to the police. The price for the purchase of products and the relevant shipping costs, as indicated in the order form, will be charged to your current account when the purchased products are actually shipped. You are responsible for agreeing to an appropriate delivery window when you are contacted by the shipping company and for paying in full for the product upon delivery.
- 4.3 All credit card details are not stored by us and any online payments will be done through our PCI certified partner.
- Customs and Duties
- 5.1 Upon arrival in your Country the contents of your order may be subject to Customs fees (taxes, duties, processing fees, brokerage fees, etc.), which are responsibility of the customer receiving the order. These fees are not under chefuniformstore.com’s control. For this reason we recommend you verify with your local Customs office before you place an order. Chef Uniform Store is unable to estimate customs fees, taxes, duties, etc. so please contact your local authorities or Customs office for detailed information.
- 5.2 Both the item prices as well as the shipping charges you pay include Customs fees, import taxes, brokerage fees, or duties.
- 5.3 Should you refuse your order at the time of arrival or should you refuse to pay the Customs fees when your order arrives, the shipment will be returned to Chef Uniform Store and you will be charged the Customs fees plus return shipping costs. If you receive your order and accept to pay the Customs fees upon delivery, Chef Uniform Store will not issue refunds for the same in case of return of the purchased products.
- 5.4 Customs processing may delay the delivery of your order. Should you experience such delays please check with your local Customs offices. The invoice for the Customs fees could arrive weeks after you receive your order, separately from the same.
- Shipping and Delivery of the Products
- 6.1 For specific product shipping and delivery procedures, please visit the Customer Care area and read the Deliveries pages. Please read these sections carefully. The information provided in these sections forms an integral part of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and, consequently, shall be deemed to be fully read and accepted by you at the time your order form is sent.
- 6.2 www.chefuniformstore.com will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC sanctions countries.
- 6.3 Maximum time for Shipping the products will not exceed more than 4 weeks.

- Returns
- 8.1 You may return products purchased from chefuniformstore.com, without any penalty and without specifying the reason, within ten (10) days from receiving the products purchased on chefuniformstore.com.
- 8.2 To return products it is necessary to complete the online Return Form within ten (10) days from receiving the order.
- 8.3 Chef Uniform Store/STORES must receive the returned products within thirty (30) days from the date on which the products were received by you.
- 8.4 You can ship your returns to STORE of purchase with a shipping service of your choice and the return shipping will be at your own expense. Please verify that you have accurately completed and included with your parcel all the necessary documentation for Customs clearance. Customs authorities require that all such documentation be written in English so that it can be used both by the authorities of the country you are shipping from (for export) and the Italian authorities (for import). We recommend that you consult with local authorities and/or your selected shipping service to ensure that the documents are sufficient. Chef Uniform Store STORES cannot be held responsible for parcels that are detained at Customs because of lacking or insufficient documentation. Chef Uniform Store therefore highly recommends that you choose a shipping service that permits you to trace the delivery at any time. Be sure that the types of shipping you choose guarantees the delivery of the parcel within the time frame of thirty (30) days from the date on which you received your order.
- 8.5 The return right - besides compliance with the terms and procedures described at par. 9.1, 9.2, 9.3 and 9.4 above - shall be deemed correctly exercised once the following conditions have been fully met:
- The online Return Form must be correctly completed and submitted within ten (10) days from receipt of the order; ▪ The products must not have been used, worn, washed or damaged;
- The identification tag must still be attached to the products
- The products must be returned, complete and unused, in their original packaging (in the case of garments, footwear and accessories the packaging must be without any wear and tear; if you want to return a kit, it must include all of its components);
- Chef Uniform Store must receive the goods within thirty (30) days from the date in which you receive your order.
- 8.6 If the return right is exercised in conformity with the provisions set forth in this section, Chef Uniform Store shall refund the amounts paid for the returned products. Shipping costs, as well as any duties, taxes and fees on the products purchased shall not be refunded.
- 8.7 Chef Uniform Store shall refund the amount already paid for the purchase of products and the shipping costs for the delivery of the purchased products to you only if the products are returned for reasons that may be due to Chef Uniform Store, such as when the products do not have the promised essential characteristics or have manufacturing defects or they have been erroneously delivered.
- 8.8 Chef Uniform Store shall refund amounts already paid as soon as possible and in any case within thirty (30) days from the date on which Chef Uniform Store becomes aware of your decision to exercise your return right. After having confirmed that the terms and conditions stated above have been duly complied with, Chef Uniform Store will promptly start the refund procedure as indicated in section 10.
- 8.9 In the event that your return does not comply with the terms and conditions set out in section 9 of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, you will not be entitled to any refund of sums already paid to Chef Uniform Store; nevertheless, you shall be entitled, at your own expense, to receive the products in the conditions in which they were sent back to the Chef Uniform Store. If you do not wish to receive the products in the conditions in which they were sent back to Chef Uniform Store, the store shall be entitled to keep the products and withhold the sums already received.
- Refund Times and Procedures
- 9.1 After the products have been returned, Chef Uniform Store shall check the conformity of the products with the conditions indicated in section 8 above. When Chef Uniform Store is able to confirm that such conditions have been met, Chef Uniform Store shall send you an e-mail confirming the acceptance of the returned products.
- 9.2 Whatever payment type you used, the refund procedure shall be started by Chef Uniform Store within thirty (30) days from when Chef Uniform Store was informed of your decision to exercise your return right, after checking that the return right has been correctly exercised and that the returned products have been accepted.
- 9.3 If the recipient of the products indicated in the order form is different from the individual who made the payment for such products, the amount paid for returned items shall be refunded by Chef Uniform Store to the individual who made the payment.
- 9.4 The value date for the credit shall be the same as the value date of the original debit and consequently you shall not suffer interest losses.

- Governing Law
- 11.1 These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by the parties expressly note and agree that we are currently a Dubai World subsidiary and as such Decree 57 of 2009 "Establishing a Tribunal to decide the Disputes Related to the Settlement of the Financial Position of Dubai World and its Subsidiaries" (Decree) applies on certain aspects related to e-commerce.
- 11.2 This website will be governed by the law of UAE.
- Amendments and updates
- 12.1 The General Terms and Conditions of Sale may be amended from time to time due to new laws and regulations or other reasons. The new General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be effective as of the date of publication on Chef Uniform Store.
